This page explains what personal data Albanian Alps (visitalbanianalps.com) collects, why, and what rights you have over it. We keep this deliberately short because we collect very little data in the first place.

What we collect

When you use the contact form on this site, we receive your name, email address, the tour or topic you selected, and whatever message you write. If you contact us by email or WhatsApp instead, we receive whatever you send us there, including your phone number in the case of WhatsApp. We don't ask for payment details through this website, because we don't process payments here.

Why we collect it

Solely to answer your enquiry, check availability, and arrange your trip if you decide to book. We don't sell, rent, or share your details with anyone outside the small team and local guides needed to plan your trip.

WhatsApp

If you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation runs on Meta's infrastructure and is also covered by WhatsApp's own privacy policy, separate from this one.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not currently set advertising or tracking cookies. Page fonts are loaded directly from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com), which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers to fetch them, and your IP address is visible to Google as part of that request, the same as it would be for any externally hosted font or image. If we start using an analytics tool such as Google Analytics, we will update this page first to say so and explain what it does.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and booking correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to plan your trip and handle any follow-up afterward, and delete it once it's no longer needed for that purpose.

Your rights

Under GDPR and equivalent local data protection law, you can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email [email protected] and we will act on it. If you're not satisfied with our response, you have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

If how we handle your data changes, we will update this page and change the date below.
